What is your style of wedding videography?
We focus on a discreet wedding videography style that prioritizes capturing genuine moments with minimal interference. Paul typically shoots as a solo videographer and blends into the background, using natural light and minimal direction to document candid reactions. Our style is very dynamic and features big landscapes, with lots of drone usage.
Cinematic storytelling techniques and low-profile equipment contribute to an unobtrusive presence, while post-production focuses on creating a seamless and personalized narrative that reflects the unique story of each couple's special day.
How far in advance should we book your services?
To maintain our commitment to quality, we accept a limited number of weddings each year, allowing us to focus wholeheartedly on each couple. It's advisable to reserve your spot well in advance, as our calendar tends to fill up quickly. Typically, our couples secure their bookings up to a year in advance to ensure availability and guarantee our dedicated attention to capturing their unique love story.
What is included in your wedding videography packages?
Our all-inclusive wedding videography package guarantees complete coverage of your special day from your getting ready portion, all the way through your big, epic dance floor. We capture every moment in stunning 4K quality. Our packages include one dedicated videographer using professional equipment, including a drone for aerial perspectives, which ensures a cinematic storytelling experience. We use weather-resistant equipment allowing us to film in any conditions. Our package includes preproduction consultations and scouting, followed by post-production services like editing, colour correction, and sound design. You'll receive your final video digitally, hosted online in 4K with lifetime access. Since we capture the entire day, the package allows for product upgrades for up to one year after your wedding.
Our full-day coverage has us present to capture all of the vital moments we need to create your films - however long that may be. It is generally capped at 12 hours for weddings and 5 hours for elopements. Filming beyond those restraints are up to the discretion of your videographer and the scope of the events.
Can we customize our wedding videography package?
Tailoring our services to your unique needs is at the heart of our approach. You have the flexibility to customize your wedding videography package with a range of additional products. While we recommend complete coverage for a comprehensive portrayal of your day, we understand that preferences vary, and shorter coverage options are available to suit your specific requirements. Our goal is to offer a personalized experience that aligns seamlessly with your vision for capturing the essence of your wedding day.
Do you offer drone footage?
Yes! Meet Paul, our licensed drone operator, bringing an extra dimension to your wedding film with stunning aerial views. Drone coverage is seamlessly included in all our film packages, adding a captivating perspective to your memories. To ensure compliance with regulations, drone flights are subject to venue permissions and weather conditions. Paul primarily captures landscape and scenery shots, usually before the wedding begins. If you have specific preferences for drone coverage, feel free to share your vision, and we'll do our best to tailor the experience to your desires.
How long will it take to receive our wedding video?
We offer a wide variety of film products whose playback time range from 60-seconds to an extended 2-hours. While our contracts provide a year for product delivery, especially for more extensive projects, rest assured that our dedicated team of full-time videographers is committed to delivering your films as swiftly as possible. As a point of reference, during the last peak wedding season, we achieved an impressive 3-4 month turnaround time for both highlight films and feature films. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we strive to exceed expectations in delivering memorable moments promptly.
Should you want to skip our editing queue, we do offer expedited editing. It is perfect if you require your film for a certain date.
Can we choose the soundtrack for our wedding video?
Music selection is part of our creative process. We choose and legally license the perfect soundtrack to your films taking into consideration your musical preferences and the vibe your day emitted. We subscribe to a vast library of awesome music that we own the rights to use in our films. Should you want to have an active role in music selection, please let us know and we can share our music database with you ahead of time.
For the use of songs outside of our database, you are welcome to research a "single use license" yourself.
Do you work well with photographers and other vendors?
Yes. So very yes.
How do you handle unexpected situations or changes on the wedding day?
So many redundancies! Multiple audio sources, multiple video sources, and a can-do attitude makes the unexpected expected. We are very good at rolling with the punches and shoot on extremely mobile rigs to ensure we're always in position to get your perfect shots. We've seen just about everything at weddings, but are never surprised to see a new situation arise.
What is your payment schedule and cancellation policy?
Our default payment schedule is a 30% retainer payment at time of booking, 30% 3 months prior to your event date, and the remaining 40% 2 weeks prior to your event date. All bookings are managed online through a secure website which will include your quote, contract, and payment schedule.
For late bookings, we retain 50% down and 50% 1 week before your event date.
All payments are non-refundable, but completely transferrable to alternate dates (pending availability). We do not charge a rescheduling fee.
Are travel expenses included in your packages?
Our packages include travel fees within most of the Sea To Sky Corridor and Vancouver's Lower Mainland. Should your wedding fall outside our included travel radius, we'll include any necessary travel fees transparently on your initial quote.
Can we request specific shots or moments to be included in our video?
We love your input. If you have any "must have" shots, definitely share them with us. We'll have lots of communication prior to your wedding date to hone in your perfect coverage.
How do we secure our wedding date with you?
To secure a date with us, we require a 30% retainer payment and a signed contract.
Do we need to decide all of the video products we want to purchase upfront?
Definitely not! We try to make the booking process as stress-free as possible for you by shooting your day as much in its entirety as possible.
